COCKTAIL RECIPE
Wild Botanical Apple Pie Hot Toddy
INGREDIENTS
45 ml Glendalough Wild Botanical Irish Gin
15 ml Highbank Orchard Syrup or Homemade Apple Syrup*
7.5 ml Monin Apple Pie Syrup
2 dashes Orange Bitters
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
7.5 ml Lemon Juice
75 ml Hot Water
30 ml Vanilla Cream**
Garnish: Freshly grated nutmeg and thin apple slice
GLASSWARE
Branded Georgian Irish Coffee Glass.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add Highbank Orchard Syrup or Homemade Apple Syrup, Monin Apple Pie Syrup, bitters, lemon juice, and hot water to a pre-warmed glass.
- Pour in Glendalough Wild Botanical Irish Gin and stir gently.
- Float vanilla cream on top.
- Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg and thin apple slice.
SUBSTITUTION & PREP NOTES:
*Homemade Apple Syrup
- Combine 240ml good cloudy apple juice with 160g demerara brown sugar in a small pan.
- Bring to a high simmer, add sugar, and reduce to 1/3 of the overall volume.
- Cool before use.
**Vanilla Cream
- Mix 75ml vanilla essence
- Lightly whip until it will float.
