This cocktail of the week comes from the legendary Ezra Star from Drink Fort Point, Boston. Voted Best Bar at Tales of the Cocktail 2 years ago it's one of our all time favourites.

Glass: Highball

 

Ingredients:

1 ½ oz Glendalough Double Barrel

½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice,   ½ oz Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao,   ¼ oz Grenadine

4 dashes Orange Bitters,   Soda Water,   Garnish Long Lemon Swirl

 

Method:

Add your whiskey, juice, Dry Curaçao, Grenadine and bitters to a shaker with ice, and shake up a storm. Then strain into a highball glass filled with ice and top it up with soda water. For full effect, your lemon swirl should wrap the whole way around the inside of the glass.
